About the Film

Paris, and already winter. Sarah and Jean love each other. They have lived together for several years. Their love makes them happy, strong. There is mutual trust, and the desire never died down. One morning, Sarah crosses paths with François who introduced her to Jean. This encounter with her past lover will turn Sarah’s emotional world upside down.
After 2017’s Let the Sunshine In, French master Claire Denis once again focuses on the complicated nature of relationships with Fire, featuring Juliette Binoche and 2022 Cannes main competition jury president Vincent Lindon. The film won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival.
