About the Film

Julia returns to her hometown and her neighborhood which she left years ago. Officially, the reason of this return is that she has to sign a permit to authorize her daughter to expatriate with her father, but, and above all, she needs recover some money that she left there which would solve many problems for her. This reunion with her past will not turn out as expected.
In this title that competed at the New Directors section of the 2021 San Sebastian Film Festival, director Mara Pescio provides a realistic outlook on family conflicts, while delivering an enduring, multi-layered portrait of a woman with Julia.
