Born in İstanbul in 1992, Yasemin Demirci started her university education at the Kadir Has University Department of Theater, continuing at the Directing Program at the Prague Film School, from which she graduated in 2015. In 2019, she graduated with honors from the Kingston University of London Department of Film Studies. Starting from 2015, she made several short films, which were screened at more than 40 film festivals in Turkey and around the world, including the CameraImage, Sofia Menar, Antalya Golden Orange and İKSV İstanbul International Film Festivals and the Venice Film Week. She is currently working on her first feature film.
